How ComplianceGuard collects, uses, and protects information when you use our FDA compliance risk scanning service.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Overview

ComplianceGuard provides informational FDA compliance risk scanning for food, supplement, and wellness brands selling in the US. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the service, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

We aim to collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Information we collect

  • Website URL you submit. The public link you ask us to scan.
  • Contact details you provide. Your email address, and optionally your name and company, when you contact us or request an audit.
  • Public page content we fetch transiently. The publicly available pages at the URL you submit, retrieved only for the purpose of producing your report.

Public data we use

Our risk findings are built on public regulatory data — specifically the openFDA API (api.fda.gov) and reference material published on FDA.gov. This data describes FDA enforcement actions and does not contain personal information about our users. We do not combine public enforcement data with any personal data to build profiles.

How we use information

  • To fetch your public pages and generate your compliance risk report.
  • To reply to your enquiries and deliver your report.
  • To process payment for a plan you purchase.
  • To maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

Cookies

We keep cookie use minimal. We do not deploy advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies or local storage we set are limited to what is strictly necessary to operate the site and the service — for example, remembering plan selections when you arrive from a pricing link.

Third-party processors

We work with a small set of service providers, each of which processes data only as needed to deliver their function:

  • Brevo — email delivery and transactional messaging.
  • Dodo Payments — payment processing for our plans.
  • openFDA (api.fda.gov) — the public FDA enforcement data source underlying our analysis.
  • Cloudflare — website hosting and serverless worker execution.

Data retention

Raw pages we fetch from your site are processed to produce your report and then discarded. We retain the structured report we generate — your findings, risk scores, and rewrites — so you can access it again. Contact details are kept only as long as needed to serve you and to meet our obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from any emails we send. To make a request, email hello@pixharvest.com and we will action it promptly.

Children

ComplianceGuard is a business service intended for companies and their representatives. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
